Become a Volunteer

Thanks for your interest in giving your time to support IRCO!  Volunteers play a vital role in extending and augmenting IRCO’s services to immigrants and refugees. Our volunteers perform a wide variety of tasks, including: teaching, mentoring and tutoring clients, staffing events and performing outreach/publicity.  We are constantly in search of committed individuals who are passionate about working with international populations.

The first step to becoming a volunteer at is to attend a New Volunteer Information Session:

  • Wednesday, July 21:  12:30pm-1:30pm
  • Thursday, August 5:  6pm - 7pm
  • Tuesday, August 17:  12pm-1pm

No need to RSVP.  All orientations take place at the Main Office (10301 NE Glisan St.)  At the Information Session you will learn more about the history of IRCO, the programs we offer, the populations we serve and receive information about the current volunteer opportunities that are available.
