The Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) just launched a website about their Refugee Programs. This website is a great tool for people wanting more information about refugees coming to Oregon, statistics about the new arrivals and an overview of the refugee experience. The website is also a resource for refugees themselves learning about the system, how to access benefits and where to turn for help. IRCO and it’s many programs are referred to throughout the new site as main providers of refugee assistance.
