About our Interpreters

We employ some of the most experienced interpreters of refugee and immigrant languages in the State of Oregon. Since professional interpretation certification through the State of Oregon is not available for many of the languages in which we specialize, we have developed our own testing and evaluation procedures to fill in the gaps.

It is not only the quality of the people we employ that is subject to scrutiny; every interpretation request receives individual attention from staff. Our staff works hard to make sure the interpreter is qualified for the specific job. Proof of the quality of our services is also evidenced by the fact that it is not uncommon for other interpretation agencies, locally and nationally, to subcontract work to us when they are unable to find the right interpreter for the job.

Interpreters are held to the highest standards of confidentiality and all are fully insured and covered by Workers Compensation.

We would be happy to provide you with references so that you may independently confirm the quality of our interpretation services.

Interpretation Information and Requests

ILB On-Site Interpretation Services are available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. We offer interpretation services in more than 40 languages. ILB staff personally assists with the appointment set-up process and keeps the customer informed about the status of each request.

Interpretation requests can be placed via an established business telephone line, established fax line, or by email.
